To end February, we had a birthday celebration for my mom. We ate at Golden Chopsticks – the best Chinese around, try it out! We also had a traditional German chocolate cake with pecan frosting and homemade french vanilla ice cream. (Wait, substitute regular chocolate cake. And walnuts instead of pecans.) JT helped blow out the candles. Slider wanted to help, but we didn’t want her licking the frosting.
Haley didn’t get any cake, but she is enjoying learning how to use her sippy cup for water!
After dessert, the kids took a bath together. Haley had so much fun being in the big tub! JT was very careful not to splash in her face and helped get the cheerleader bath ducky for her.
After the kids were in bed, the adults watched “Secretariat.” I’d recommend it!
