Roll Tide!

If you don’t follow college football, you are woefully behind on how we spent our weekend – decked out in crimson. Alabama played LSU for the BCS National Championships on Monday and we started gearing up on Sunday. Here is what the kids looked like at church. We got a lot of comments, especially considering I was wearing my houndstooth scarf with my red pea coat and Jim looked like he belonged on the sidelines in his new Bama jacket.

Then we went to Costco and made a purchase we’ve been waiting and saving for… a new TV. Jim made a call and got our Dish service upgraded to HD first thing Monday morning, and we were ready to roll. Roll Tide, that is. I don’t know who in our family is most excited about the new purchase. The TV comes with wifi, which means we can instant stream movies for free with our Amazon Prime service (I’m in love…), Cars 2 never looked better for JT, and Jim is in heaven with a crystal clear picture and a new universal remote that controls everything with one press of the button.

By the way, Haley and I wore our matching jeans on Monday. I’ve been dying for her to be big enough and now she is… matching Gap 1969 boot cut dark rinse for two!
