Friday morning our friends Gracie and Tyson came over to play extra early. So we stayed in our pajamas and had pancakes together… yum! I don’t have any pictures of that, but I do have pictures of the play time that followed.

Gracie loved building really tall towers with the blocks. The first one she knocked over set off the glass break alarm in our house. š I turned the alarm off and we went back to building.
JT built a smaller tower out of the nesting blocks. He wanted to use the wood blocks but he let Gracie because “she is our guest.” Notice how she is posing like a ballerina for this photo. Love it.

We did a snowman craft that involved glue (applied via q-tip), cotton balls, toothpicks, and glitter. At one point Gracie said, “You’re my best friend in the whole world.” I commented to JT how kind that was and asked him to say something back. Gracie then clarified, “No, I was talking to you.” My new BFF! I think she was just happy about the glitter.
When Tyson and Haley needed some snuggle time and it was close to pick-up time, Gracie and JT watched a Word World on my Kindle Fire together. Sweet.
There are not many pictures of Tyson and Haley because they spent a lot of time arguing over toys. They are about the same age and both second children. They have learned to fight for what they want, and neither one wanted to back down. It went like this:
Tyson: “Arrrrgh!” (Pulls a toy)
Haley: “Arrrrggghhh!” (Pulls it back)
Tyson: “Arrrrgggghhhhh!” (Pulls harder)
Haley: “AAARRRRGHHHHH!” (Grabs Tyson’s arm)
Becky: “Okay, you are not sharing the toy. Who had this first?”
Tyson and Haley: “Aufoiug llknmu ern lghoiu fejlj f!”
Becky: *sigh* “Who wants a snack?”
