Jim organized a Mother’s Day boating trip with us, my parents, Jim’s mom, and Jim’s sister and her husband. My parents brought their boat out, too, and we tied up together and ate pizza in the boat. Then Jim and I got to ski before we headed back to my parents’ house for some amazing brownie sundaes.

Jim wrote a very nice note in his card to me about growing kids and growing flowers. I got to go buy some new plants to add some color to the front flower beds… and I got two huge hanging baskets for the deck. JT helped me pick them out, plant them, and water them. He also picked out the glittering pinwheels that he insisted we post in the flower beds. It edges on trashy but they are a little cute so I’m letting it go.
