This past few months we have been thinking about November 5th, Election Day, and how the vote would go for our school district. We all have the bumper stickers and “like” the Facebook page and all that. It’s pretty much an all-consuming topic of conversation. JT even got involved and copied the bumper sticker to make his own sign. He was published when it got shared to the entire “Vote YES” Facebook page yesterday, too! š
Last night we knew right away there was good news. By 8:15 (the first update for election results), the numbers showed 68% YES, with a return of over 10,000 voters. That is not only a very high yes response, it is also a record number of voters. I’m going to tell JT his sign did its part, and now my kids will attend a new high school closer to home, and they will have less crowding at their schools. That’s worth a few bucks!
