We had a lot of fun hanging out with Grandma Keene for her birthday last night! I made my annual German chocolate cake with coconut pecan frosting. Haley started smiling two weeks ago but they are so tough to catch on camera! She is consistently smiley after her 10 AM feeding, so this morning I was ready. In the past, we’ve gone to the big Salmon Days festival in Issaquah to watch the salmon spawn. This year, we opted to go to the hatchery on Monday after the festival and were pleasantly surprised to find lots of salmon, lots of FISH volunteers giving talks, and no crowds.
