Friday morning our friends Gracie and Tyson came over to play extra early. So we stayed in our pajamas and had pancakes together… yum! I don’t have any pictures of that, but I do have pictures of the play time that followed. Reading in the armchair Gracie loved building really tall towers with the blocks.Continue reading “Pancake Pajama Party”

Hungry Hippos
I remember really wanting the game Hungry Hungry Hippos when I was little. So when I saw it this Christmas, I bought it for JT. Sure enough, he loves it. The problem is that Haley loves it too, and she kind of sabotages the game. She is soooo excited to put the hippo food backContinue reading “Hungry Hippos”
Roll Tide!
If you don’t follow college football, you are woefully behind on how we spent our weekend – decked out in crimson. Alabama played LSU for the BCS National Championships on Monday and we started gearing up on Sunday. Here is what the kids looked like at church. We got a lot of comments, especially consideringContinue reading “Roll Tide!”
Shooting with Dad
JT finally got to go shoot his new BB rifle this week. Jim and JT went to our friends’ house and used their large backyard for target practice. JT did a great job and loved it. He shot balloons and cardboard. 🙂
Portland
We went to Portland last weekend for a memorial for one of Jim’s extended family members. While that is a sad occasion for a visit, we had a wonderful time with our cousins, aunts, uncles, and Great Grandma Hall! Okay, so the kids are tired in this picture. Some of the great grandkids Laughing withContinue reading “Portland”
Hats
Suddenly Haley loves hats. This is humorous considering her previous obstinate aversion to anything on her head. It has also been so fun watching her play with her new toys from Christmas. So first… How cute are her pigtails? Getting treats out of the oven Yum – spaghetti! Â Here we go with hats… Watching forContinue reading “Hats”

Swimming
Our kids have been back in Kinderswimmer lessons since October, and they are both doing really well. Today, for the first time, I got to go! Usually Jim takes them on days that I work. Today he worked and I was off, so I was very excited to see JT swim “all by myself” andContinue reading “Swimming”
Happy New Year
We are so thankful for all that is 2011: a wonderful family, good health, great friends, a warm house, plenty of food, and an almighty God. It is up to Him to guide our paths in 2012. We can’t wait to see where it takes us!
12.29
Thursday was a busy day! First we had a special overnight visitor Wednesday night. Asher spent the night at our house and the boys even have matching pajamas, which made for an adorable picture right before our bedtime popcorn and movie. Thursday morning, we enjoyed the break in the weather and spent some time atContinue reading “12.29”
