With the weather consistently cold and wet, we’ve had to come up with some new ways to work out some energy around the house. One morning, JT decided to build a McDonald’s drive through. (This is interesting because I think he’s been through one a grand total of once.) He built a block tower andContinue reading “Getting Creative”

Christmas Photos
We’d like to thank Sarah Ellen for another round of beautiful family pictures! I think Haley is torturing JT…
A Good Day for Football
The Saturday following Thanksgiving, Jim and JT had a football marathon. It was a good day for our teams and both were rivalry games. First Alabama stomped Auburn in the Iron Bowl. Then everyone changed clothes to support the Huskies in the Apple Cup game against WSU. Go dawgs!
O Christmas Tree
You know what’s a little scary? The amount of times I say in a week, “I saw in on Pinterest.” Let’s keep in mind that I only click around on there a couple of times a week, and I don’t have much on my boards. But still! I saw the idea for these lights picturesContinue reading “O Christmas Tree”
Officially a Walker
Haley is officially a walker more than she is a crawler. It is so fun to see her walk into a room and peek around the corner of the door. I remember from JT that surprise when you look to the floor expecting a crawler to enter but a couple feet higher is your walker’sContinue reading “Officially a Walker”
A New Home
This summer we started praying about a new home for Slider. Let’s start by saying that she is a wonderful dog. However, we thought we’d live out of the city on more land by now, and we thought she could be outside more, and neither of those things are going to happen anytime soon. WeContinue reading “A New Home”
Thanksgiving
We kicked off Thanksgiving week by making some crafts as a gift for our hosts, Grandpa and Grandma Cole. Here JT is showing off his handprint turkey. He also made a puffy pumpkin. My parents hosted a lot of my mom’s family for dinner and we had a wonderful time! Uncle Jim and Aunt Sara Great-Grandma and RitaContinue reading “Thanksgiving”
15 Months and 40 Months
(Also known as 1 1/4 and 3 1/3) Haley had her fifteen-month checkup today and we are pleased to report that she’s gained a whole two pounds since she turned one. Hooray! I was busy celebrating while her doctor was reminding me to continue a high-calorie diet. Haley would have to gain another three poundsContinue reading “15 Months and 40 Months”
Haley’s First "Ski"
I don’t even know what to type other than 1) this was his idea, and 2) leave it to an older brother to do this for fifteen minutes all around the house!
A Year with Frog and Toad
JT and I had our second date to Seattle Children’s Theater this week. We saw A Year with Frog and Toad. It was so good. I would see it again today! The music was amazing, and the choreography was outstanding. JT’s favorite part was the “large and terrible frog” that was actually a man behindContinue reading “A Year with Frog and Toad”
